COVID-19 Update


March 27, 2020: Executive Order of Two Week Rental Suspension

Announced late this afternoon, Florida Governor DeSantis issued an executive order to temporarily suspend new arrivals for vacation rentals during the next two weeks and will be authorizing the use of checkpoints at entry points into Florida. Per mandated regulations, guests currently occupying a vacation rental may finish the remainder of their stay and then proceed home. For affected guests during the 14-day suspension, Sanders Beach Rentals has issued an 110% credit toward a future stay for any date within 12 months of your original stay's arrival as rescheduling is now required. You have also received an email to this effect. 

We know this is an unconventional time but remain hopeful that these expanded travel provisions will combat any potential spread of COVID-19 in our area and allow your families back to the beautiful sugar white sands of 30-A even sooner!


March 22, 2020: Cancellation and Refund Update

Things have been changing rapidly with the impact of COVID-19 during this unprecedented time. We’ve been closely monitoring and making changes along the way, as we take very seriously our responsibility to balance the interests of our guests, owners, employees, and the future of our business. As you are all VERY aware, sometimes the unexpected happens - that’s why we have implemented a vacation rental policy exception. Given the unpredictable state of the COVID-19 situation and to allow our guests to continue planning their vacations with peace of mind, effective March 22, our policy for cancellations and credits will be as follows:

Guests with arrivals within 60 days (currently on or before May 21th):
We will adjust our standard cancellation policy, as outlined in your rental agreement, to allow for a full credit towards a future stay for any date within 12 months of your current stay. The change allows you to postpone your reservation and receive a 110% credit when you are ready to rebook. To do so, please use the following credit / cancellation form. Please note, you do not need to select your future day of stay immediately to make this election.

Guests with arrivals beyond 60 days:
While Sanders Beach Rentals is open and welcoming all arrivals, we will continue to permit cancellations per our standard guest agreement at any time and for any reason, up to 60 days before your arrival.

Please understand that our team is hard at work making and answering calls and emails so that we can take care of our guests and give peace of mind during this difficult time. If you have already submitted a cancellation request, it is in our queue and set to be processed in the order of its arrival date. This is an all-hands-on-deck situation and our entire team is working diligently for you.

The only way to get through this is to work together. It has been our pleasure and privilege to serve our guests and our community over the last 17 years and we look forward to serving for years to come.
