Best Time of Year to Play Golf on 30A
While 30A experiences great temperatures year-round, Spring (March - May) and Fall (September - Early November) are the ideal times to go golfing on 30A. You’ll experience temperatures ranging from the 60s to the 80s and low humidity. We highly recommend booking tee times in advance during this time as these seasons are considered peak golf seasons on 30A.

Raven Golf Club
Designed by Robert Jones Jr., Raven Golf Club is a stunning par 71 golf course that presents players with a mix of challenges and fun. You’ll meander through marshes, wetlands, and pines as you play this beautiful “modern traditional” course. Raven was home to the Boeing Championship—a stop on the PGA Champions Tour—in 2006 and 2007.
Kelly Plantation Golf Club
If you’re looking for 18 holes of challenging golf, Kelly Plantation has you covered. The course winds through intricate bayous and trees, and more recently the course was enhanced by Bill Bergin Golf Design to include renovated bunkers and tees. With over 7,000 yards of well-manicured fairways and greens, this course is perfect for players of all skill levels.

The Links is all about proper club selection and accuracy. Set against the Choctawatchee Bay and Baytown Marina, this link-styled golf course presents a challenge for all players, no matter how skilled you are. The par 72 championship course at The Links stretches over 6,710 yards with slope ratings that range between 121 and 138. This is Sandestin’s original golf course and first opened its doors in 1973.
Windswept Dunes
While not directly on 30A, Windswept Dunes is just a 30-minute drive from the area. The spacious 18-hole is a demanding 7,752 yards from the championship tees, but with five additional sets of tees, offers challenge and excitement for golfers of all abilities.
