Whits Whims
Born and raised a Texas girl, I don’t get to experience much beach time. Recently I was able to book a trip and get away with a group of girls to the 30A WaterColor area of Florida! If you’ve never been to the 30A beaches, it’s a must…. there are so many fun things to do, yummy places to eat, and the beaches are GORGEOUS! I’ve gotten tons of questions about our vacay so keep scrolling to see where we stayed, our favorite restaurants, and what I packed.
Watercolor Florida Girls Trip
WHERE WE STAYED
Shout out to Sanders Beach Rentals for planning the most perfect girls trip EVER and providing this beautiful home for us to stay in all together. It was large enough for 10 of us to fit comfortably and to ALL have our own space! One of the best parts about this place is that it’s walking distance to so many fun places like restaurants and the WaterColor Beach Club where we spent a lot of our time. Along with it being walking distance, 30A also had bikes for us so we could bike during the day or even to dinner.
If you’re planning a vacation to Watercolor anytime in the near future, check out sandersbeachrentals.com. They make it SO simple to find exactly what you’re looking for and even have a filter so you can access your highest priorities when looking for a home to book.
OUR FAVORITE RESTAURANTS + VENDORS ON THE TRIP
Hibachi Joe: Pretty sure this was a highlight for all 10 of us! He brings the entire hibachi (grill and all) straight to you. The food was actually SO good, too. It was a fun night to drink some wine and eat hibachi at the house.
Hey Mama Wines: Rosé all dayyyy! The house was stocked with wine just in time for our arrival.
Graze30A: Charcuterie boards for the win!
Emerald Coast Catering: Yummy fajita bar at the house
PRO TIP: If you’ll be traveling with a large group, getting reservations in the area can be a challenge. Definitely try and make your plans as soon as you can.
Other Restauratns Ive been to and highly recommend on 30A: Lacream, Pescado, Bud and Alleys, Greath Sotuhern Cafe, REd Bar, The Hub and George's.
